Isibindi (Ysterplaat gemeente) en KnysnaKerk is baie opgewonde om in 2023 vir die eerste keer 'n diensjaar aan te bied.  18-25 jariges, kom meld jouself aan om tydens hierdie jaar te kom inploeg in plaaslike gemeenskappe, maar ook om ontwikkel te word in jou leierskap, karakter en geloof.  Boonop word jy opgelei as bedienaars in een van vier bene:  Jeugwerk, gemeenskapswerk, berading of prediking, waarvoor hul 'n sertifikaat van Hugenote Kollege ontvang.  Registrasies is nou oop.

18 - 25 Jariges met n passie vir die Here, 'n hart vir die bediening en 'n klomp energie word uitgenooi om deel te wees van die eerste Diensjaarspan. Kom groei in jou geloof, jou gawes, jou teologiese kennis, jou leierseienskappe en in ervaring tydens hierdie opwindende jaar.

Wat kan jy verwag?

Geloofsgroeisessies;

Ontmoet nuwe mense;

Leierskapsontwikkeling;

Bou diep verhoudings;

Praktiese bedieningervaring en blootstelling by verskeidenheid van instansies volgens jou gawes;

Kampe;

Karakterontwikkeling;

Retraits;

Kerklike diploma, geakkrediteer deur Hugenote Kollege, in jeugwerk, berading, prediking of gemeenskapswerk.

 

Ons droom vir jou is om die jaar af te handel met 'n duidelike besef van jou unieke roeping, herinneringe wat jou 'n leeftyd sal hou en 'n innige verhouding met die Here.

Isibindi is the Xhosa word for Being Brave | Having courage | Going in with guts

Isibindi aims to create places and spaces where youth from difficult or disadvantaged backgrounds can become part of  a community and have the support to courageously pursue their purpose and passions. We strive to be a family with ISIBINDI.

 

We want to do this by:

Creating a safe family for youth based on the principle of communal living and sharingFocusing on the values of unconditional love, worthiness and belongingWorking towards sustainable employment and/or educationGiving our time and love unconditionally to these youthEncouraging each other to be leaders and examples in communities that need it desperately
